Cowboy Baseball Team Of The Century To Be Revealed Sunday

STILLWATER, Okla. - Robin Ventura and Pete Incaviglia headline a group of 12 players named to the Oklahoma State Baseball Team of the Century as voted on by the fans.
The entire team will be announced during Sunday's regular season finale against Texas Tech which starts at 2 p.m. Throughout the season fans voted on who they believed was the best player at each position, which consists of three outfielders and three pitchers, first, second and third base, shortstop, catcher and a designated hitter/utility player.
Nine of the 12 players selected went on to play in the major leagues and two are currently active in minor league ball.
In addition to the Team of the Century announcement, the Cowboys will also honor five seniors playing their last home games in an OSU uniform. Frank Bludau, Carlos Gautreaux, Quenten Patterson, Rusty Rushing and Lance Smith will receive special recognition in a short pregame ceremony Sunday afternoon.
The three-game series with Texas Tech opens tonight at 7 p.m.
