STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's soccer team finished the spring season undefeated after blanking Tulsa 1-0 and tying Oral Roberts 0-0 Saturday afternoon in Edmond.
The Cowgirls ended the spring with a 9-0-3 record which pleased head coach Karen Hancock.
"Going undefeated was a tremendous building block for us and helped our team regain its confidence back to where it should be," stated Hancock.
Mercy Morrical scored OSU's goal in the 1-0 win over the Golden Hurricanes from an assist by Andrea Larsen. Goalkeepers Laurel-Catlett King and Katharine Doud notched shared shutouts in both contests.
Hancock was pleased with the team's play over the 12 spring contests, especially the seniors. "Mercy Morrical, Julie Harris, Andrea Larsen and Andi Lute really stepped up this spring, in fact everyone on the team got better," the fifth year head coach added.
