Cowgirls Win Two In Spring Soccer

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl soccer team did not allow a goal today as it shut out Louisiana-Monroe and Central Oklahoma.
The Cowgirls defeated Louisiana-Monroe 4-0 in the morning game, and added a 4-0 victory over Central Oklahoma tonight.
Against Louisiana-Monroe, Andrea Larsen opened the game by scoring a goal off a Julie Harris cross at the 2:13 mark. Kellie Williams then added a goal off of a penalty kick 31:34 into the game.
Williams also scored three minutes later off of an assist from Andi Lute to make the score 3-0 at halftime. Heather Barnes also scored on an assist from Mercy Morrical at the 65:08 mark to bring the score to 4-0.
In the second game, Andi Lute scored the first goal at the 2:00 mark and then added a second 7:13 into the game. Kelly McKay scored off of Lute's assist to bring the score to 3-0 at the half. Andrea Larsen then added a goal at the 89:36 mark as the Cowgirls defeated Central Oklahoma 4-0.
The Cowgirls will continue their spring season as they travel to Fayetteville, Ark. to face the Lady ?Backs April 8.
