Gautreaux Named Big 12 Baseball Player Of The Week

STILLWATER, Okla. - Senior outfielder Carlos Gautreaux, who led Oklahoma State to 4-1 record last week, was named the Big 12 Player of the Week the conference office announced today.
The Abbeville, La., native sparked the Cowboys from the leadoff spot going 10-for-16 (.625) with four doubles and five runs scored. His .700 on-base percentage helped the Pokes score in double digits in three of their five games.
Gautreaux currently leads the team with a .413 batting average (second in the Big 12) with eight doubles and 17 runs scored.
This is the second Oklahoma State player to receive the conference award this season. Outfielder Roy York received the award on Feb. 21.
