Sloan finishes 13th at NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Oklahoma State's Chuck Sloan finished 13th in the 3,000-meter race at the NCAA Indoor Track Championships here today.
Sloan finished the race in 8:12.52 at the brand new Randal Tyson Track Center. He improved on his 14th-place finish in the 3,000m at nationals last season.
South Alabama's David Kimani won the race in 7:52.64, while Alabama's Tim Broe was second with a time of 7:57.30. Sharif Karie, of host Arkansas, finished third in 8:01.10.
The Cowboys are off next week before opening the outdoor track season by hosting the OSU Duals on March 25.
