STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's soccer team surrendered a pair of second-half goals en route to a 3-1 loss to Baylor on Sunday afternoon before 361 fans at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.
With the loss, OSU fell to 3-11 overall and 0-5 in the Big 12.
After the two teams battled to a 1-1 deadlock through the first stanza, Baylor tallied two second-half scores courtesy of Emily Fukuchi.
Baylor (5-5-2 and 2-2-1) got on the board first on Whitney Barrett's goal in the game's 33rd minute.
Less than five minutes later, Cowgirl freshman Kim Graves scored the equalizer on an assist from senior Andi Lute. The goal was the Tulsa native's third of the season, tying her for the team lead.
Both squads had point-blank opportunities early in the second half, but neither squad was able to capitalize until the match's 55th minute.
Fukuchi broke through the OSU defense and converted on an assist from Candace Reilly. At the 60:44 mark, Fukuchi struck once again, slicing though the defense and putting away the final goal of the game.
The Cowgirls will be in action again on Friday when they travel to Lincoln, Neb., to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
