About Oklahoma (9-7-1, 4-4-1): The Sooners come to Stillwater winners of two of their last three contests. Two weeks ago, OU upset the nation's second-ranked team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 2-1 in Lincoln. Last weekend, the Sooners fell to Texas A&M 3-1 and knocked off Texas 2-0. With their win against the Longhorns, OU set a school record for wins and clinched its first-ever berth in the Big 12 Tournament.
Offensively, the Sooners are led by forward Jonette Coquat. The junior from Carrollton, Texas has amassed 18 points this season on six goals and six assists. Forward Logan Womack leads the team in goals scored with seven and has 15 points on the year. The freshman from Norman scored both goals in OU's win over Texas last week en route to being tabbed as the Big 12's Player of the Week.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jana Cunningham has been the squad's defensive stalwart. She was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week and was tabbed as the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Week after the upset win over the Huskers. On the season, Cunningham has notched 102 saves while surrendering 17 goals in 1,470 minutes of work.
The Cowgirls own a 4-0 edge in the all-time series against Oklahoma.
The Week in Review: OSU is coming off losses against Big 12 foes Texas and Texas A&M. On Friday, the Cowgirls battled to a scoreless tie in the first stanza against the Longhorns before giving up a pair of second-half goals en route to a 2-0 loss. On Sunday, the Aggies jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first stanza and never looked back, adding three goals in the second half to secure a 5-0 triumph.
