Oklahoma State's women's soccer squad ended a 10-game losing skid on Sunday, tying Iowa State 1-1 before 237 fans at the Iowa State Soccer Complex.
The Cowgirls, who moved to 3-12-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the Big 12, got on the board first when forward Kim Graves lofted a long shot over Cylcone goalkeeper Beth Chapman at the 33:25 mark. The goal gives the freshman four on the season, tying her for the team lead with fellow newcomer Joanne Edwards.
Iowa State (6-7-2, 2-4-1) knotted the game in the 83rd minute on a goal from Arlene Samuel to send the contest into overtime.
In the first overtime, the Cyclones had a potential game-winning goal waved off due to an ISU foul.
For the third time this season, OSU goalkeeper Katharine Doud posted double figures in saves to lead the Cowgirls defensively. The sophomore finished the contest with 12 saves.
The Cowgirls will return to action on Oct. 20 when they take on the Texas Longhorns at 7 p.m. in Stillwater.
