OSU Wrestlers Set To Host No. 4 Minnesota

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State will return to the mat Sunday against fourth-ranked Minnesota at 2 p.m. at Gallagher-Iba Arena after taking care of business Friday night with a 32-7 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Head coach John Smith's Cowboys are 4-0-1 on the season and haven't lost in 73 matches.
In the series OSU owns a 12-2 record all-time against the Golden Gophers and have won five straight. In the last meeting, OSU won a 20-17 decision to claim the 1999 National Duals Championship in Iowa City, Iowa.
Minnesota is 6-0 on the season and features three wrestlers ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 at their weight classes. Brock Lesnar is the number one-ranked wrestler at 285 pounds and is 9-0 on the season with five falls. He was the NCAA runner-up last season.
The Golden Gophers also have two wrestlers ranked second. At 125, All-American Leroy Vega will face OSU's 11th-ranked Jeff Ragan. This will finish a weekend where Ragan faced both No. 1 and No. 2-ranked wrestlers at 125 pounds.
At 184, Minnesota's NCAA runner-up Brandon Eggum is 14-1 on the season and will go up against the Cowboys' Pat Popolizio.
