Mu?oz Selected For NWCA All-Star Classic

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State junior Mark Mu?oz was selected today to wrestle in the 2000 NWCA All-Star Classic on Feb. 7.
The No. 1 and No. 2 ranked wrestlers at each weight class will congregate in East Lansing, Mich., home of Michigan State University, for this year's NWCA All-Star Classic.
Mu?oz, Oklahoma State's 197-pounder and a native of Vallejo, Calif., is currently ranked second at 197 pounds by Amateur Wrestling News. He is 20-0 on the season for the Pokes and leads the team in takedowns with 25.
He has knocked off four wrestlers currently ranked in the top 10 at 197 pounds and claimed individual titles at both the Las Vegas Invitational and Reno Tournament of Champions.
Mu?oz's competition will be Michigan State's top-ranked 197-pounder Nick Muzashvilli.
