? Senior PK Tim Sydnes' second-quarter field-goal miss snapped a string of 12 consecutive successful attempts for Sydnes dating to last season.

? Junior RB Jamaal Fobbs' 68-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was the eighth touchdown run of his career and his 11th touchdown overall, including three receiving TDs. It was the longest rush of his career, topping a 57-yard scamper in his freshman season of 1997. It was the longest rush by an OSU player since David Thompson went 91 yards against Kansas State on Oct. 14, 1995.
? The Cowboys improved to 5-0 against the Ragin' Cajuns.
