Women's Soccer Shoots Down Oklahoma, 1-0

NORMAN, Okla. - Andrea Larsen's game-winning goal at the 58:02 mark in the second half led Oklahoma State to a 1-0 win over Oklahoma in women's soccer action Tuesday night at the Norman North Soccer Complex.
Larsen second goal of the year came off a rebounded cross by midfielder Andi Lute which had hit the crossbar.
OSU moved to 4-0 all-time against OU, the last three decisions being decided by only one goal.
Freshmen goalkeepers Laurel Catlett-King and Katharine Doud combined for the shutout, the Cowgirls second of the season. Doud, who played the entire second half, made five saves as OU outshot OSU 11-5 in the period.
The win snapped Oklahoma State's six-game winless streak as the Cowgirls improved to 2-8 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play.
Oklahoma dropped its fifth straight game and is now 1-8 on the year and 0-3 in conference play.
The Cowgirls will be back in action this Friday, Oct. 1, when they host Louisiana State at 7 p.m. at the OSU Soccer Complex.
