Cowgirls Lose To Denver 2-0

STILLWATER, Okla. - Andrea Raleigh's goal with 37 seconds remaining in the first half lifted Denver University to a 2-0 win over Oklahoma State in women's soccer action Friday night at the OSU Soccer Complex.
Raleigh scored off a rebounded 30-yard free kick by Joanna Smith and knocked it past OSU goalkeeper Laurel Catlett-King to give Denver a 1-0 lead at halftime.
OSU had an opportunity to tie the game in the second half but a goal from Missy Moss was waved off because Moss was offsides.
Molly George added a goal off a Kerri Weaver assist at the 75:35 mark to ensure the Pioneer victory.
Denver improved to 5-2-1 on the season while the Cowgirls fell to 1-8-0. OSU will be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 28 against Big 12 rival Oklahoma at 6 p.m. in Norman.
