Hultman Fires 68 At Ping-Golfweek Preview

OPELIKA, Ala. - Oklahoma State sophomore Anders Hultman carded a 4-under-par 68 in Monday's second round of the rain-slowed Ping-Golfweek Preview at Grand National Lake Course near Auburn, Ala.
Hultman's scorching round likely moved him 22 spots up to fifth in the individual competition, three shots behind Clemson's Lucas Glover, who better Hultman by one stroke Monday. As a team, OSU carded a 5-over-par round of 293 and will probably be fifth when the second round is completed Tuesday morning.
After two lengthy rain delays, play was suspended due to darkness Monday with three teams still on the course. Clemson is the leader in the clubhouse with a 13-under-par score through 36 holes.
Charles Howell finished 36 holes with a 2-over-par score of 146, Edward Loar recorded a 74 Monday and is at 147, after beginning his career with a 71 Sunday, J.C. DeLeon dropped a bit with a 77 and is at 148, and Landry Mahan scored 156.
Results will be available Tuesday morning when the second round is completed. The third and final round will begin with a shotgun start immediately following second-round completion.
