Three Cowboys Place at St. Louis Open

ST LOUIS - Three Oklahoma State wrestlers placed at the St. Louis Open on Saturday at Forest Park Community College in St. Louis.
Matt Holman lost a close 5-1 decision in the 125-pound finals to Shane Valdez of Oklahoma. Jeff Ragan placed fourth in the 125-pound division.
The only other Cowboy to place was heavyweight Dave Anderton, who placed fourth.
The results from the tournament only listed the top four wrestlers in the Open division. A complete list of OSU results in both divisions will be available early next week.
The top-ranked Cowboys' varsity will get its first action when they travel to Wisconsin for a 2:30 tilt on Friday. They enter the dual with a 45-dual winning streak.
