Cowboys' Win Streak Reaches 66

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's top-ranked wrestling team won its 66th straight match with a 31-4 win over 20th-ranked Michigan State, Monday evening in Stillwater.
The win upped the Cowboys mark to 21-0 and the Spartans fell to 4-8.
Top-ranked 133-pounder Eric Guerrero started the dual off for the Cowboys with a ho-hum 8-3 win over third-ranked Pat McNamara. Charles Walker followed that match up with a 6-4 win over Issac Miller at 141 pounds.
Reggie Wright then dominated his match against Mike Castillo at 149 pounds, winning 23-10. Jimmy Arias then won a close match against Cory Posey, 2-1 in overtime. Ty Wilcox then dominated Kevin Spiess, 13-3.
Mark Smith kept his undefeated season alive with a 15-5 win over Will Hill. Smith is the top-ranked 174-pounder in the nation. Mark Mu-oz won his sixth straight match with a 16-6 win over Nik Fekete.
Josh Cruzan dropped a 12-4 major decision to Nick Muzashvili of the Spartans in the 197-pound match. Dave Anderton then won an exciting 3-2 match over Matt Lamb at heavyweight. Anderton scored a takedown with three seconds left in the match for the win. Jeff Ragan closed out the dual with a win over 16th-ranked Chris Williams.
The Cowboys will next be in action when they host Missouri Saturday at 3 p.m.
