Women's Track Splits Up This Weekend

Stillwater, Okla. - The Cowgirls track and field team splits up three ways this weekend, traveling to Oklahoma City, Lincoln, Neb. and Indianapolis, Ind. for meets on Friday and Saturday.

Headlining the weekend is the Husker Invitational. Kicking off Friday at 4:00 p.m. and wrapping up on Saturday around 4:20 p.m.

Sherita Jackson and Megan Robbins both coming off provisionally qualifying for nationals in Norman last weekend will look to improve on those marks in Lincoln.

Head Coach Catrina Acosta will be taking four Cowgirls to the Cannon IV Classic in Indianapolis, Ind on Saturday. Hanna Smedstad, who provisionally qualified for nationals last weekend in the 3,000m will look to make some noise outside of the Big 12.

The remaining members of the Cowgirls squad will venture to Oklahoma City for the Oklahoma Christian Indoor Invitational on Saturday.
