Women's Soccer Signs Four to Letters-of-Intent

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State women's soccer program announced the signing of four athletes to play soccer for Oklahoma State in 1999.
Two goalkeepers, Laurel Catlett-King and Katharine Doud, along with two midfielders Sree Kolloru and Zita Tiamuh, all signed national letter of intents on Wednesday.
"We are excited about the two goalkeepers, both of whom are very good and will help raise the level of the program," said head coach Karen Hancock. "Sree and Zita are two skillful midfielders and we look forward for them to come here and contribute to the program."
Laurel Catlett-King was a 1998 Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region III pool player from Hoover, Ala. and was an all-state honorable mention winner last season at Hoover High. Catlett-King chose the Cowgirls over Marshall, Auburn and Dartmouth.
Katharine Doud was on the 1997 ODP Region III team and was one of two goalkeepers to represent the 12 state Southeast Region. Doud, a senior at Plano High School in Plano, Texas, was selected to the Dallas Morning News Top 22 soccer players in the metro area in 1998. She chose Oklahoma State over Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina State.
Sree Kolloru and Zita Tiamuh were teammates on the Ontario Provincial team in Ottawa, Canada. Both attend high school at St. Matthews in Orleans, Ontario and were teammates of current Cowgirl Myszka Paprocki on the Provincial team.
"I believe that all of the signees will end up being very good players with successful futures at Oklahoma State," said Hancock.
