STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State women's soccer team (3-1) opens its 1998 conference schedule when they host rival Oklahoma (4-2) on Friday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. at the OSU Soccer Complex.
The game is the third in the soccer series between the two schools with the Cowgirls holding a 2-0 advantage over the Sooners.
Last season forward Andrea Larsen netted the game winner at the 105:45 mark in overtime to give OSU a 1-0 victory in Norman.
In both teams inaugural season in 1996, OSU came away with a convincing 5-1 win in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State is coming off of its first loss of the season last Sunday, when North Texas defeated the Cowgirls, 3-1. The loss snapped OSU's team record six-game win streak and was only the fourth loss in their last 14 matches.
Oklahoma is coming off of a 4-3 win over Houston last Sunday and have won their last two contests.
Oklahoma State students receive free popcorn and a coke with their ID at the game.
