Women's Soccer Falls to Denver in Overtime, 2-1

DENVER, Colo. - Denver midfielder Andrea Raleigh scored at the 101:47 mark in overtime leading the Pioneers to a 2-1 win over Oklahoma State, Friday afternoon in Denver, Colo.
The loss snapped OSU's four -game win streak as the Cowgirls fell to 7-2 on the season.
Senior midfielder Melissa Wykes six-game goal scoring streak came to an end in the loss.
Denver opened the scoring in the game when sophomore Joanna Smith scored off a free kick at the 30 minute mark to give the Pioneers a 1-0 early lead.
Sophomore midfielder Andi Lute tied the game for the Cowgirls at the 65:31 mark when she took a feed from Wykes and scored past the DU goalkeeper from the short side.
OSU outshot Denver, 13-12, with a 7-4 advantage in shots on goal.
OSU will face Big 12 foe Colorado on Sun., Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant View Soccer Complex in Boulder, Colo.
