LINCOLN, Neb. - The Oklahoma State women's soccer team (7-7-2, 1-5-2 Big 12) was shutout for the second time in three games, as No. 10 Nebraska (13-2-1, 8-0-0 Big 12) defeated the Cowgirls, 4-0, Sunday afternoon in Lincoln, Neb.
Nebraska outshot the Cowgirls, 28-3, and improved to 3-0 all-time against OSU.
Oklahoma State played its second straight game without injured starters Andrea Larsen and Myszka Paprocki and used only one substitution during the game.
Forward Missy Moss led the Cowgirls with two shots offensively while goalkeeper Chrystal Emerson recorded eight saves in the net for Oklahoma State.
The four goals given up were the most scored by an OSU opponent since the Cornhuskers tallied four on Oct. 24, 1997.
Oklahoma State concludes its regular season schedule with a pair of contests at the OSU Soccer Complex next weekend. The Cowgirls will play Texas A&M on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. before closing out the year against Texas on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m.
