Texas' Four Runs in Seventh Stop Cowboys

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State (20-12, 6-7 Big 12) could not overcome a four-run eighth inning by the Longhorns Saturday afternoon in a 6-2 Big 12 Conference loss.
The Cowboys jumped to an early 1-0 lead in the second inning with Marc Fournier walking and an RBI triple by Tony Roossien.
Oklahoma State's Jeremy Krismer had an outstanding afternoon pithing a shutout no- hitter through five innings.
In the fifth, Texas obtained the lead with two runs off a two RBI single by Tommy Nicholson. Oklahoma State would come back in the top of the seventh with a Fournier single scoring Billy Gasparino.
In the bottom half of the seventh, Texas scored four runs off of four hits and an error.
The Cowboys will begin a seven game homestand this week beginning with North Carolina State April 7-8. Both games will begin at 7 p.m.
