STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State women's soccer program added another signee Thursday with the addition of Amy Gross, who signed a national letter-of-intent to play for the Cowgirls.
Gross, a 5-2 senior defender at Blue Valley High School in Stillwell, Kan., has played in the Olympic Developmental Program (ODP) in Kansas for the last five years. She helped lead her club team, Alliance United, to the state championship in 1997 and 1998. Gross also led her team to a second-place finish in the prestigious Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) tournament in Washington D.C. last year.
"Amy is a strong, hardworking defender with a great work-ethic. We are glad to bring a player like her into our program," said head coach Karen Hancock.
This brings the Cowgirls recruiting total to five with four players who already signed on February 3.
