LB Kenyatta Wright, 6-1, 235, Sr., Vian, Okla. -- One of the best linebackers in the country, Wright is coming off a season in which he had 71 total tackles, including 48 solo stops and 23 assists. He had 10 tackles for losses and five sacks for minus 39 yards. He led the OSU defense with four forced fumbles.
QB Tony Lindsay, 6-2, 190, Jr., Denver, Colo. (Thomas Jefferson H.S.) -- The 1997 Big 12 Freshman of the Year had another solid season in 1998. He led OSU with 1,442 passing yards on 97-of-196. He threw seven touchdown passes. He was OSU's number to rusher with 592 yards on 151 carries. He scored 10 rushing touchdowns. He was sixth in the Big 12 in total offense with an average of 184.9 yards per game.
TB Nathan Simmons, 5-10, 200, Sr., Boulder, Colo. (Boulder) -- Oklahoma State's leading rusher in 1998. Simmons carried the ball 204 times for 937 net yards, both team bests. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry and 85.2 yards per game. He scored five touchdowns, second on the team to Lindsay. He was seventh in the Big 12 and 49th nationally in rushing.
