December 7, 1998
STILLWATER, Okla. - Coach John Smith has announced the suspension of Teague Moore, the top-ranked 125-pound wrestler in the nation, for the Cowboys next wrestling date, Dec. 18 in California.
Moore will miss duals against Fresno State and Cal Poly for violating a team rule.
"There were some things said behind our bench," said Smith. "Teague told me about it and was obviously upset. He is a leader on this team on and off the mat and will continue to be, however, we will not condone his actions."
