Gansen Wins National Title at Junior Wrestling Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Oklahoma State's Tony Gansen won the national title at the Fila Junior Mens National Championship over the weekend in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Gansen, who redshirted this past season at OSU, won the 167-pound division by defeating defending World Champion Don Pritzlaff of Wisconsin. Gansen will represent Team USA at the World Championships in Australia in August.

Gansen will compete for the 174-pound spot in the OSU lineup next season.

Also competing in the tournament were Jerrod Sanders, Matt Brown and Shane Roller. Sanders finished sixth, Brown placed fifth and surprisingly Roller did not place.

The competition was for men aged 18-20 years old.
