Four Cowboys Head to Cardinal Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's men's track team will send four athletes to the Cardinal Invitational on Friday in Stanford, Calif.
The Cowboys' events start off with Chuck Sloan and Andrew Hennessy running in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The event is scheduled to begin at 9:20 p.m. Both have provisionally qualified for the steeplechase but are trying to improve their times to the automatic qualifying level of 8:43.00.
Brian Young will compete in the 1,500m at 10:30 p.m. He will be followed by Gitogo Churu in the 5,000m at 10:40 p.m.
The meet begins with the women's hammer throw at 2:30 p.m. Track events start at 7:30 p.m. with the men's 110m hurdles.
The Cardinal Invitational is the Cowboys' last meet until the Big 12 Championships on May 21-23 in Waco, Texas.
