Football Scrimmage Set for Practice Field

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's preparation for the 1998 football season will continue Saturday afternoon when the Cowboys go through a major scrimmage.

The scrimmage will begin at approximately 2 p.m. and will be held on the grass practice field east of Gallagher-Iba Arena.

While the event is open to the public, those planning to attend should be aware that since the scrimmage is on the practice field and there is no permanent public seating, viewing will be very limited.

After the weekend scrimmage, all practices will be closed as the Cowboys count down the days until the season-opener at Kansas on Sept. 5.
