Cowgirls to Compete in OU Classic

STILLWATER, Okla. - The Cowgirls will be looking to to lock down qualifying times for nationals as they travel to Norman, Okla. for the OU Classic Saturday, Jan. 30.

Following a strong performance at the Bank of Fayetteville Invitational the Cowgirls will try and better the three individual titles they brought home last weekend.

Hanna Smedstad won the 3,000m in a time of 9:45.48 while Andrea Holloway won the shot put with a throw of 45-5.75. Megan Robbins tied for first place in the pole vault, jumping 11-1.

The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. with the weight throw and conclude following the men's 4X400 relay at 5:05 p.m. The running events are slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
