Cowboys Set Line-up For Ranking Matches
STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State's top-ranked wrestling team will have its annual ranking matches on Tuesday Nov. 17 at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with three preliminary exhibitions beginning at 6:30.
There figures to be two outstanding matches that will have an effect on the Cowboys' starting lineup. At 141, returning starter Jamill Kelly will battle Charles Walker for the starting nod.
At 149, Reggie Wright and Brian Burrows will vie for the starting nod. The match is virtually a toss-up. Burrows is a redshirt freshman and Wright is a junior college transfer.
The Cowboys open their season with the St. Louis Open on November 21.
