STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's baseball team broke its four-game losing streak with a win over Southern Illinois, 16-5, Friday afternoon.
The Cowboys banged out 13 hits for 16 runs in the best offensive outing for the Pokes this season.
Oklahoma State scored in the bottom half of the first inning, off a Tony Lucca two-run home run, his third of the season. In the game, he was 2-for-5, with the home run and a double.
Junior Steve Hartsburg led all batters going 3-for-5, with four RBIs, including two doubles.
