STILLWATER, Okla. - Rightfielder Lamont Matthews two homeruns and seven RBIs powered Oklahoma State to a 22-1 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Tuesday afternoon at Reynolds Stadium.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff (5-9) opened the scoring in the top of the first off a RBI sac fly from Andre Dennis giving the Lions an early 1-0 advantage.
The Cowboys (12-6) stormed back in the second with nine runs of their own, keyed by Matthews grand slam homer to rightfield. OSU added 13 more runs in the next three innings as the team scored 20 or more runs in its sixth straight non-conference game at home.
Oklahoma State starter David Rollandini picked up his second win of the season allowing one run on two hits with seven strikeouts in five innings pitched.
Michael Lorsbach and Toby Rhodes also hit homeruns as the Pokes have now hit 44 homeruns in 18 games.
