Carlsen Takes Second at Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Cowboy long distance runner junior Rene Carlsen, headed to Michigan's Ferry Field on Friday to take place in the Phil Diamond Invitational.

Carlsen who has already qualified provisionally for the national meet with his 29:27.41 performance in the Penn Relays 10,000m run in Philadelphia, Penn., placed second to Michigan's Todd Snyder in the 5,000m run. Carlsen finished the race in a time of 14:36.66.
