Baseball Set to Face Missouri

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's baseball team looks to get on track in Big 12 play with a three-game series against Missouri this weekend at Reynolds Stadium.
The series is set to begin Saturday at 2 p.m., weather permitting. If the game cannot be played due to the weather the Cowboys and Tigers will face off in a doubleheader on Sunday or Monday, depending on the weather and field conditions on Sunday.
Matt Smith (3-1, 2.25 ERA) is scheduled to open the series for OSU while the Missouri starter is yet to be determined. Junior Thom Dreier will pitch in the second game of the series while the third-game starter is yet to be announced by the Cowboy coaching staff.
The Pokes are coming off a 22-1 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff last Tuesday and are 8-2 at home. OSU is 12-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play after losing two of three against Baylor last weekend.
Missouri is 10-7 on the season and 1-5 in the Big 12 after losing two of three against Texas Tech last weekend. The Tigers beat Western Illinois in a two-game set at home earlier this week, 10-3 and 6-3. Missouri is 8-2 at home while they have yet to win on the road this season in five opportunities.
After the Missouri series the Cowboys will travel to Fort Worth to take on TCU Wednesday, Mar. 17 at 2 p.m.
Schedule Note: The Iowa State series scheduled to be played in Ames, Iowa next weekend will now be played in Stillwater (Mar. 19-21) at 2 p.m. each day. Tickets to the Mar. 10 canceled game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff will be honored for any one of the games against the Cyclones that you choose.
