STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State (9-7, 2-2 Big 12) battled Prairie View A&M Wednesday afternoon, for a 23-4 victory.
Oklahoma State pitched five pitchers, which collectively amassed 16 strikeouts. The winning pitcher was Thom Dreier, who pitched two innings only giving up one hit and striking out four.
Offensively, the Pokes were led by Steve Hill, who was 4-for-7, with three RBIs. As a team the Cowboys were 15-for-47, a team average of .357 for the day.
The Cowboys will be back to Big 12 Conference action this weekend when they will face off against Texas A&M. The beginning game of the series on Friday, March 13, will begin at 3 p.m. While the rest of the weekend's games will begin at 2 p.m.
