STILLWATER, Okla. - The Oklahoma State baseball team is ranked No. 19 according to Collegiate Baseball's Fabulous 40 preseason poll released today.
The Cowboys return five position starters from last year's squad which finished 40-21 and made the NCAA tournament for the 18th straight year.
Six Big 12 teams are ranked with Texas Tech topping the list at No. 13 followed by No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 19 Oklahoma State, No. 22 Baylor, No. 31 Texas and No. 32 Oklahoma.
In addition to the Big 12 teams, Oklahoma State will play four non-conference opponents ranked in the poll which includes No. 26 Arizona, No. 34 Loyola Marymount, No. 35 Oral Roberts and No. 38 Ohio State.
Wichita State was the preseason No. 1 after going 56-7 last season.
