Baseball Loses to North Carolina State 9-6

Raleigh, N.C. - North Carolina State snapped Oklahoma States four-game win streak with a 9-6 decision Tuesday night at Doak Field.
The Wolfpack led the entire game and beat the Cowboys for the first time in five opportunities dating back to the 1987 season. North Carolina State moved to 30-15 overall while Oklahoma State fell to 29-11.
Senior shortstop Billy Gasparino led the Cowboys offensively with a 3-for-4 showing with a double, a homer and two RBIs. Josh Holliday also connected on his 11th homer of the season and has hit four dingers in his last four games.
Sophomore Stu Hunt lasted only two innings as the starter and dropped to 0-1 on the season.
The two teams will close out the two game series tomorrow at noon CDT.
