Baseball Loses Game Two

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State (17-10, 4-5 Big 12) gave up eight runs in the eighth and ninth innings for a Texas Tech (22-10, 6-4 Big 12) comeback win 10-6, Saturday afternoon.
Texas Tech scored in the first inning with a Keith Ginter lead off home run, and followed it with a run in the third.
In the home half of the third, the Pokes exploded for four runs, with a Josh Holliday three-run home run and a Marc Fournier single that scored Tony Lucca.
The Cowboys later capitalized on a Kevin Lucas triple and another Holliday home run in the sixth inning, which boosted the Cowboys to a four run lead.
Oklahoma State starter Matt Smith went seven innings, before being pulled in the eighth. Texas Tech took advantage of the change as Brandon Buckley and Ginter doubled in a couple of runs. In the ninth, the Red Raiders' Jason Huth blasted a three-run home run that clinched the win.
Oklahoma State and Texas Tech finish the series Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
