STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's (34-13, 13-8 Big 12) game with San Francisco was canceled in the top of the first due to an umpire's decision that the field was deemed unplayable.
The ruling came after a sudden burst of rain brought out the tarp. The rain delay only lasted a few minutes, but after an inspection of the outfield by the coaches and umpires the game was terminated.
At the time of the cancellation, San Francisco was winning 3-0, after a two RBI double from Jeff Pritchard. There were two outs before the rains fell.
Oklahoma State and San Francisco will try to play again tomorrow evening, Apr.28. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
