Baseball Defeats Kansas with Seven Extra Base Hits

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State (6-5, 1-0 Big 12) had seven hits for extra bases in its first win over Kansas (3-4, 0-1 Big 12), Friday afternoon, 10-1.
Oklahoma State's Tony Lucca, Tony Roossien, Steve Hartsburg and Kent Schaub collected doubles. Matt Mabrey and Steve Hill hit triples and Hill also had a home run.
Jon Adkins recorded his longest outing of the year by pitching eight innings and recording six strikeouts.
The Cowboys will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. against Kansas in the second game of its series.
