Baseball Defeats Arkansas-Little Rock, 11-5

Stillwater, Okla. - Trent Kitsch's two-RBI single in the third inning broke a 3-3 tie and sparked the Cowboys to a 11-5 win over Arkansas-Little Rock Tuesday night at Reynolds Stadium.
The Cowboys scored three runs in the bottom of the first, two coming off a single by rightfielder Lamont Matthews.
Arkansas-Little Rock rallied to tie the score at 3-3 in the top of the second courtesy of a three-run homer to centerfield by designated hitter Jabbar Wesley.
Oklahoma State starter David Rollandini settled down and proceded to record a career-high 10 strikeouts. The redshirt freshman threw six and a third innings and gave up three earned runs on seven hits to move to 3-0 on the season.
Arkansas-Little Rock starter Doug Gibson was rocked for eight runs in six innings and dropped to 1-3 on the season.
Billy Gasparino and Trent Kitsch paced the Cowboys at the plate, combining to go 4-for-8 with five RBIs. Freshman Toby Rhodes, playing for an injured Jimbo McAuliff, went 3-for-5 with a run scored while roaming centerfield.
Oklahoma State improved to 16-7 on the season and have won four straight games while Arkansas-Little Rock dropped to 10-15 on the season.
The Cowboys and Trojans will be back in action tommorrow at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Stadium. Sophomore Will Rosellini is slated to start for OSU while Allen Campbell is scheduled to pitch for Arkansas-Little Rock. R H E
