Baseball Beats Loyola Marymount 6-2

SAN DIEGO - Oklahoma State's baseball team used a 2-for-3 performance from Josh Holliday and a couple of 2-for-4 outings to power past Loyola Marymount 6-2 at Tony Gwynn Stadium here today.
Trevor Leu and Ryan Budde each put together 2-for-4 performances for the game. Leu had one RBI, and Budde added two runs, an RBI and two stolen bases. Holliday record two doubles and one run during the outing.
The Cowboys upped their record to 5-1, while Loyola fell to 5-7.
Frank Bludau (1-0) was the pitcher of record, with Daniel Kelly earning his first save of the season. Michael Schultz (2-1) was the losing pitcher. Thom Drier started the game for the Cowboys and struck out nine while walking five and allowing one run.
