Academic All-Big 12 baseball team released

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State joined Baylor as the schools with the most first-team honorees when the Academic All-Big 12 team was released Thursday.
Senior Steve Hill, the second-leading hitter on the team and one of only two Cowboys to play every game this season, is one of just three players in the league to record perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Nominated by the directors of student-athlete support services and the athletic media relations directors, members of the all-academic teams have posted at least a 3.0 grade point average either cumulative or the previous two academic semesters and are regulars on their respective teams. First-team honorees are regulars who have at least a 3.2 grade point average, while those student-athletes with grade point averages of between 3.0 and 3.19 are listed as honorable mention.
Idle this week for finals, the Cowboys return to action Saturday and Sunday with a three-game series at Missouri.
