Cowboys Advance Seven Wrestlers To Semifinals Of Cliff Keen Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. - Oklahoma State advanced seven of 10 wrestlers to the semifinals of the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Wrestling Invitational here tonight at the Star of the Desert Arena.
OSU's Charles Walker (133), Jamill Kelly (141), Reggie Wright (149), Ty Wilcox (165), Pat Popolizio (184), Mark Mu?oz (197) and Dave Anderton (Hwt.) all advanced to Saturday's semifinals.
The semifinals are scheduled for noon CST on Saturday. Three Cowboys, Shane Roller, Jeff Ragan and Tony Gansen lost in the round of 16 and will wrestle at 11 a.m. in the fourth round of consolations.
Kelly, who upset Oklahoma's No. 2-ranked Michael Lightner in a tie breaker Tuesday night, major decisioned Jonathan Archuleta of Cal-State Bakersfield 11-2 to reach Saturday's semifinals.
The Cowboys' Reggie Wright, who is ranked third at 149 pounds by Amateur Wrestling News, had two technical falls and a major decision on his way to the semifinals.
