- OSU won despite season lows in points (68), field-goal percentage
(39.2), three-point percentage (zero for seven), rebounds (33), assists (10)
and blocked shots (none). However, OSU also had a season low in turnovers
(nine) and set a season high in steals (12).
- Alex Webber recorded the third 20-point game of his career, he
previously scored 22 against Texas Tech last season and against Mississippi
Valley State in 1996-97, his freshman year. Webber shot nine-for-11 (.818)
while his teammates hit nine of 38 (.237) field goals until Glendon
Alexander and Desmond Mason hit wide-open layups in last 15 seconds.
- OSU missed six of its first eight free-throw attempts in the first 10
minutes of the game but then hit 26 of 30 (.867) the rest of the way.
- Joe Adkins tied a career high with eight rebounds.
