- OSU has won 25 consecutive home-opening games and is 59-3 in
Gallagher-Iba Arena openers.
- Senior forward Brian Montonati recorded his first career start and
responded with his fourth career double-double.
- Doug Gottlieb, who already holds every OSU assist record, added to his
total tonight with 10 assists, giving him 23 double-digit assist games in
his career.
- Zac Cazzelle and Andre Williams saw their first playing time as
Cowboys, Cazzelle scored two points, and Williams had six points and 10
rebounds.
- OSU faces Idaho, an overtime winner over Oral Roberts earlier Friday, in Saturday's final game of the America's Youth Classic sponsored by the Eddie G. Robinson Foundation. The Cowboys' game tips off at 8:30 p.m., following the Appalachian State-Oral Roberts matchup, which begins at 6 p.m.
