Women's Soccer Defeats TCU, 2-1

FORT WORTH, Tex. - Oklahoma State scored two first-half goals and defeated TCU 2-1 Wednesday afternoon in the last game of OSU's 1999 soccer season.
Senior forward Missy Moss, playing in her last game at OSU, scored the Cowgirls first goal of the game at the 5:34 mark off of assists by Julie Harris and Kellie White.
Freshman Emily Polan, a Dallas native, scored the first goal of her career at the 37:55 minute mark to give OSU a 2-0 lead.
TCU responed with less than 40 seconds remaining in the first half, when Ali Schloegel socred off of assists from Charlia Owens and Lori Robbins to cut the lead to 2-1.
Goalkeeper Katharine Doud did not allow a Horned Frog goal in the second frame, making five saves off eight TCU shots. Laurel Catlett-King played the first period and gave up one goal while stopping four shots.
The win gave the Cowgirls a final record of 5-14-0 in 1999 while TCU fell to 9-10-0 overall.
