Iowa State Edges Past Oklahoma State 1-0

STILLWATER, Okla. - Ali Sullivan's goal at the 49:36 mark in the second half propelled Iowa State to a 1-0 win over Oklahoma State in women's soccer action Friday night at the OSU Soccer Complex.
Sullivan took a feed from Krista Odenwald and shot it past OSU goalkeeper Katharine Doud from three yards out to give the Cyclones their second straight win over the Cowgirls in the four-game series.
ISU goalie Hayley Mercer recorded the shutout and moved to 2-0 on the season. The Cyclones outshot the Cowgirls 15-8 overall, 8-4 in the second half.
Iowa State improved to 11-5 overall and 4-4 in the Big 12, while Oklahoma State dropped to 4-13 and 2-7 in conference play.
Oklahoma State will play its final home game of the season against Nebraska on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Cowgirls will honor the team's lone senior, Missy
