DALLAS, Texas ? All eight of OSU?s individual scoring rounds were in the 60s as the Cowboys shot 29-under-par as a team, good for second place, through Monday?s first two rounds of the Taylor Made Red River Classic.

Third-ranked Charles Howell carded a pair of 68s to lead OSU and is in sixth place after two rounds at 8-under-par. South Carolina?s John Bloomfield, who set a tournament record for score through 36 holes, is in the lead at 13-under. The Gamecocks lead as a team as well after their record opening-round score of 21-under-par 267 helped them to a 32-under-par score after two rounds. OSU is three strokes back at 547 as a team, Houston (551) and SMU (557) are third and fourth.

Three other OSU individuals claimed top-20 positions with 18 holes to play. True freshman J.C. DeLeon is tied with senior teammates Edward Loar and Landry Mahan in fourth place at 6-under-par. Anders Hultman shot a team-best 67 in the second round and is in 35th place at 2-under. Billy Lowry, competing as an individual, is 82nd at 9-over.

The tournament concludes with one 18-hole round at the Dallas Athletic Club?s Blue Course, a 6,766-yard track that plays to a par 72.
