Entering his first season as a graduate assistant for the Cowgirl program is Trevor Payne. A native of Llano, Texas, he joins head coach Jim Littell’s staff after working as a manager for the men’s program since 2017.

During his time with the Cowboys, Payne was responsible for gym preparation for practices. Additionally, he had a hand in helping produce and prepare practice film for the coaching staff.

Payne has also worked in the department’s equipment room where he was responsible for inventory of game uniforms and apparel as well as various other tasks.

An excellent student, Payne was twice named to the President’s Honor Roll, receiving the distinction in the fall of 2017 and spring of 2020. He was also named to the Dean’s Honor Roll three times, appearing on the list in the fall of 2018 and 2020 as well as the spring of 2019.

Payne earned his degree this past spring from OSU in finance and management while also obtaining a minor in energy finance.
